You don’t have to. This phrase has been on my mind constantly in the last week. You don’t have to get so emotionally wound up. You don’t have to stress and sweat and angst over your job. You don’t have to try so hard in your relationship. You don’t have to hang on so hard. 

The beauty of life is that usually when you let all of that go, just let it all float away into the universe, that’s when all the things that are meant for you, all the things you have been wanting and working so hard for, finally have space to come into your life. 

When you can let go and trust that the universe has your back, that you are safe and loved by Source, the space that is created by that feeling can finally allow the peace you have been craving to come into your life. 

When you can let go and not be so worried about your job you will be able to do it better, or maybe even find the space and courage to find a new way to meet your physical needs. When you can let go and give yourself space to just be yourself in your relationships, and allow others the space to do the same, you may find them organically evolving into something that is far more healthy and peaceful, or you may find stressful relationships falling away from you. Let them go. 

Let it all go. It isn’t your job to stress and toil and hurt. Its your job to have experiences that help you grow and learn and fulfill your soul’s purpose for coming to the earth. That doesn’t mean you won’t have to go through hard things. It doesn’t mean there wont be pain and difficulty and betrayal. The way you approach and move through your experiences can make all the difference. 

I challenge you to let go. I challenge you to have faith in yourself. I challenge you to forgive yourself. I challenge you to allow yourself to feel the peace of knowing that your soul is ok, no matter what happens here on this earth. Your life is meant to help you grow and learn. Its not a torture chamber of angst and pain and stress. Not unless you choose that. So, just for today, try choosing something else. You don’t have to. Its up to you.
